Nanohana Canola Flower Candles
Vibrant yellow candles made from the oil of the canola flower, with a wick of dried reed wrapped around a cylinder of washi paper. A centuries-old technique, the hollow core of the washi paper allows for oxygen to pull up through the bottom of the candle, creating a taller and more beautiful flame.
Each box comes with 24 or 40 candles, which last around 55 minutes each. Each candle measures 4.35".
Candle stand sold separately. Pairs well with the Medium Koma Candle Stand and Cube Candle Stand in black and beige.
Takazawa was established in 1892 and is one of the oldest candle makers in Japan. The candles produced by Takazawa use techniques and materials that have not changed since the 16th century.
